When you feel like you've poured your heart and soul into your online
business, but you still have little or nothing to show for it, it's
time to reassess your activities.
The most common problem
experienced by most online marketers is lack of focus. They have an idea
of what they want to achieve and they may even have a detailed plan
laid out, and still success eludes them.
The culprit is most often
lack of focus. This is commonly due to the frustration of not seeing
immediate results. They discover an opportunity and follow it faithfully
for a few weeks, may be even a couple of months.
When results
fail to materialize, they get discouraged and turn to another business
opportunity. Mind you, these are not the typical would be marketers
suffering from the shiny object syndrome.
Serious Folks Like You
These are serious folks, like you, who dream and work hard to in pursuit of their dream of online income.
There are many reason why they are not achieving success, all of them related to lack of focus.
What
happens is that there are so many tempting offers out there, and most
of them seem so attractive, sure-fire ways to success, that it's easy to
give in to doubts as to whether what you are presently doing is really a
viable approach.
This self-doubt eventually leads you to select
another product, another business model that is sure to bring you the
breakthrough you need to find eventual success.
Another very
common reason for lack of focus is working on too many projects at the
same time. Therefore you get spread too thin, and usually you don't
even realize it.
This is especially bad because you are literally working your fingers to the bone, and yet not getting any results.
What's the answer?
Select
one business model, one method of pursuing that model, and devote all
your energy, all your resources of money and time to making that one
business model produce earnings.
The Proverbial Snow Ball
Do
not deviate from this single focus, this single-minded focus until you
see money coming in, even though it's likely to be a trickle at first.
Like the proverbial snow ball, the trickle will grow till it becomes a
steady stream if income, and eventually a flood of money coming your
way.
At that point you can either "rinse and repeat," or start one
of those other online income opportunities you have filed away for
future action.
Your First Dollar is the Hardest to Make
Someone
said, your first dollar is the hardest to make. But once you have made
that dollar, you will be so excited that nothing can stop you, or
sidetrack you from reaching the outstanding earnings success you have
been dreaming of.
